The 5th Annual REALTORS Care™ Foundation Motorcycle RIDE for Charity
Oakville, Ontario, July 2010 – The Oakville, Milton & District Real Estate Board [OMDREB] were hosts to the REALTORS Care™ Foundation REALTOR® Riders on Wednesday July 7, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Twenty-five Motorcycle Riders roared into the OMDREB parking lot as one of their stops in their four-day ride in the REALTORS Care™ Foundation Motorcycle RIDE for Charity.
Riders were treated to refreshments and were presented with a cheque by The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board President, Jeff Mahannah for $500 in support of their ride from Mississauga to Sault Ste. Marie. This is the fifth Annual REALTORS Care™ Foundation Motorcycle RIDE for Charity and 100% of the proceeds from the RIDE benefit REALTORS Care™ Foundation go to support the fight against homelessness.
Three Members from the OMDREB Board, Albert Venditti, Ingrid Hollinger and Ronn James were participants in the ride and an additional $100 was pledged by OMDREB staff in support of their ride.
OMDREB REALTORS® are proud supporters of the REALTORS Care™ Foundation, most notably with their ongoing participation in the Every REALTOR® Campaign. On behalf of all OMDREB Members, a donation of $1 per Member per month for 12 months is donated to the foundation each year. The REALTORS Care™ Foundation consider themselves privileged to make grants in support of shelter related causes which give hope to those less fortunate and enable homeless children to live healthier, happier lives.
