SCHOLARSHIP


The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board is proud to support local-area graduating high school students with monetary gifts. Winning submissions will best answer one of six questions, which pertain to shelter-based or local community issues. Four students receive an amount of $2,500 for their submissions.

2017 Scholarship Awards

The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Scholarship Awards:

  • Alexis Del Papa – Craig Kielburger Secondary School for her video essay answering, You’re offered a position to work in the marketing department at Food4Kids or Halton Food For Thought. Please create at 2- or 3-minute video campaign, which aims to educate families on how to meet their daily needs via budgeting, assistance with food plans and nutrition, and providing guidance on other related areas;
  • Dua Alam – Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School for her essay answering, What is the impact of malnutrition on academic success? How can the educational system be enhanced to help individuals break this life cycle?;
  • Daniel Jolic – Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School for his essay answering What is the impact of malnutrition on academic success? How can the educational system be enhanced to help individuals break this life cycle?; and
  • Daniela Fisico – Garth Webb Secondary School for her essay answering What is the impact of malnutrition on academic success? How can the educational system be enhanced to help individuals break this life cycle?
