Real Estate Marketing Co-ordinator



We are a busy, award winning real estate team based out of Oakville, ON. We are looking for a talented and technology-savvy individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator (1-Year Contract). The ideal candidate has at least three years of work experience in a fast-paced real estate marketing environment and has the ability to work within tight deadlines to deliver high-quality work. Industry experience is a definite asset and preference will be given to those who have previously worked in a brokerage setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with existing branding material to prepare brand & RECO compliant brochures, feature sheets, advertisements, mail-outs, flyers, etc. using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.). This includes using existing Illustrator templates, altering designs/layouts as required, and creating new material as required.
  • Coordinate the production, printing, delivery and re-stocking of marketing material (in-house and sourcing external suppliers)
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of advertising campaigns and mail-outs
  • Maintain and update the team website (adding and updating content and blog posts)
  • Update and manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter)
  • Write, update, and coordinate monthly and bi-weekly advertisements in local papers/magazines
  • Provide professional, friendly and deadline-conscious support to the agents on the team and to our clients
  • Collect, organize and make quality control changes to all source materials from agents
  • Ensure accuracy of all proofs and submissions, including proofreading/editing
  • Help with overflow of work (including real estate administrative duties such as processing new listings, preparing listings forms, offers, market analyses, processing sold listings, CMA packages, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Real estate knowledge and experience is a significant asset, including knowledge of OMDREB, TREB, WebForms, EasyOffer, MLS listings, purchase and sale agreements, amendments, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, objectives and deadlines
  • Experience using a content management system such as WordPress to update existing websites and familiarity with HTML5/CSS is an asset
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Great communication skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally in stressful and challenging situations

Required Education:

Must have either a degree or diploma in Marketing or Graphic Design from a recognized College or University.
