On September 7, CREA announced the new arrival of notifications on REALTOR.ca.
The new feature will be available to users on September 15 and helps REALTORS® stay up-to-date in areas of interest. According to CREA, users can customize settings to receive notifications on Favourites and Compare lists and new listings for Saved Searches.
Why is this a benefit?
CREA says that with help from notifications, REALTORS® will be able to "identify new listings and changes to listings for their clients," particularly when clients are interested in properties outside the MLS® system the REALTOR® is working on.
The release also stated that notifications will help REALTORS® discover new properties easier.
"Keeping users informed and connected to REALTOR.ca will help drive more meaningful traffic to listings, and ultimately generate more leads for our members."
