RFP For Representation - OMDREB Head Office

In our search for a new head office OMDREB has determined it is now time to seek commercial/office REALTOR® representation to assist. We are looking for someone, whether or not a member of OMDREB, to represent our interests in this search. We know all OMDREB members have extensive networks and we ask you to share the RFP for Representation throughout your network so our Building Task Force and the Board of Directors can select the person we feel is best suited to assist in this search.

Seeking a New Head Office for OMDREB

The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) was established in 1954 and represents 2,300 REALTORS® who serve the communities of Oakville, Milton, Halton Hills and the surrounding areas. OMDREB serves its members through a variety of supports and services, including professional development, technology, and advocacy.

OMDREB’s long-time head office at 125 Navy St. in Oakville was sold and vacated in December 2021. We are seeking a new head office to accommodate administrative offices, a training facility, boardroom, and MyStore (supplies for REALTORS®).

We are now seeking a REALTOR® who focuses on commercial/office real estate transactions, particularly in the Oakville and Milton area, to represent our needs.

This individual will report to our Building Task Force which has responsibility to review potential properties and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.

The property we seek will meet our requirements as generally set out below.

  • 3,000 – 5,000 sq. ft. (*note: alternatively, could be 2,000 – 2,500 sq. ft. administrative offices with shared amenities for training room and boardroom)
  • Low rise (one storey or two) or high rise – may be stand alone or within a larger building
  • Ample parking
  • Must be in Oakville or Milton – preferably in northwest Oakville (flexible)
  • Local infrastructure for high-speed technology
  • Prefer high visibility location for external signage
  • No medical buildings
  • Purchase only being considered at this time
  • Existing location or upcoming new build (depending on timeframe)

We are looking to acquire a property as soon as possible but are willing to be patient to find the right property. Proposals for Representation are welcome from any qualified commercial agent.
