The Town of Oakville released their State of the Environment Report Card for 2014.
Notable for REALTORS® is the denser development which, if planned appropriately, means green development by using "fewer resources, is transit friendly and supports a vibrant community".
In 2013, there were 657 housing completions in Oakville, of which 263 (40.0%) were singles, 221 (33.7%) were row dwellings (townhouses), and 173 (26.3%) were apartment completions.
