Introducing Lorraine McLachlan, OMDREB's new Chief Executive Officer

OAKVILLE, ON - October 2, 2020 - The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) is thrilled to announce the hiring of Lorraine McLachlan as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Lorraine has held senior leadership roles in trade associations and not-for-profit organizations for over 30 years. Prior to joining OMDREB, Lorraine served for 11 years as President and CEO of the Canadian Franchise Association and 10 years as Vice President with the Canadian Marketing Association. She has a track record focused on bringing value to members and looks forward to working with members, the Board of Directors, and the staff team as OMDREB looks to the future.

Lorraine will be responsible for the management of the Association, providing strategic advice to the Board and leadership to the staff. Key areas of responsibility include: development and enhancement of member services, ensuring strong and cooperative external relationships, governance, fiscal management, issues analysis, strategic planning, advocacy and government relations, and enhancement of public awareness and trust in OMDREB and our members.

She is a graduate of the University of Toronto and holds an MBA from Royal Roads University in British Columbia. Lorraine has corporate Board experience and has served as a volunteer on the University of Toronto Academic Board, the Board of the Trillium Chapter of the Canadian Society of Association Executives, and is active with the Order of St. John Knights Hospitaller, Ontario Commandery with charitable work focused on palliative care.
