Oakville, ON, May 5, 2019 – According to figures released May 5 by The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB), the number of all property sales increased in May compared to the same period in 2018. Monthly property sales jumped by 43, totaling 845 compared to 802 in May 2018.

Oakville, ON, April 7, 2019 – According to figures released April 7th by The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB), the number of all property sales increased in April compared to the same period in 2018. Monthly property sales totalled 755 compared to 701 in April 2018.

TREB / OMDREB Data Swap is now live

Toronto, April 8, 2019 -- The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) and the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) have been working together toward an arrangement that will expand data access for their respective Members. This initiative resulted in an OMDREB–TREB agreement to swap MLS® System data for properties located within the municipal boundaries of Halton Hills, Milton, and Oakville, as listed by Members of either Board. The data swap went live on April 16, 2019, with the Membership of both Boards notified via their respective MLS® Systems, email and/or social media channels.

March 2019 Market Report

Oakville, ON, March 1, 2019 – According to figures released March 1st by The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB), the number of all property sales dropped significantly in March compared to the same period in 2018. Monthly property sales totalled 612 compared to 748 in March 2018. The total number of new property listings also saw a decline this year. 1,204 new listings in March 2019 compared to 1,286 in 2018.

2019 Federal Budget improves housing affordability for first-time homebuyers

There are two important measures included in this year’s federal budget that will reduce barriers to home ownership for first-time homebuyers. These measures would build on the government’s previous investments to enhance housing affordability for those who need it most through the National Housing Strategy.

February 2019 Market Report

According to figures released March 1st by The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB), the number of all property sales rose significantly in February compared to the same period in 2018. Monthly property sales totaled 543 compared to 462 in February 2018. The total number of new property listings saw a decline this year. 842 new listings in February 2019 compared to 979 in 2018.

January 2019 Market Report

According to figures released February 1st by The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB), the number of all property sales fell just slightly in January compared to the same period in 2018. Monthly property sales totaled 402 compared to 412 in January 2018. The total number of new property listings is higher than it was last year. 870 new listings in January 2019 compared to just 812 in 2018.

UPDATED: OC and ORTIS to Blend MLS® Systems

Ontario - (January 16, 2019) - The Governors of the Ontario CollectiveTM (OC), a regional group providing MLS® System services to 12 real estate associations representing over 5,000 REALTORS®, and the Directors of the Ontario Regional Technology & Information Systems Inc. (ORTIS), a regional group providing MLS® System services to 10 real estate associations of over 8,500 REALTORS®, are pleased to announce they have signed a Transition Agreement to blend their two separate systems into one common shared regional MLS® System.

Oakville, ON, January 3, 2019 – According to figures released January 3rd by The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB), the number of all property sales fell in December compared to the same period in 2017. Monthly property sales totaled 321 compared to 475 in December 2017.
