The Town of Milton announced in a press release dated March 24 that Milton Transit would make scheduling changes and re-introduce a service starting April 4.

According to the release, “All 8:40 a.m. trips leaving the Milton GO Station will now depart 15 minutes earlier at 8:25 a.m. for routes 2 Main, 3 Trudeau, 4 Thompson/Clark, 5 Yates, 6 Scott, 7 Harrison and 8 Willmott. This change will minimize current passenger wait times.”

The Town is re-introducing evening GO drop-off service, which connects passengers to their destination from GO trains that aren’t “currently met by the conventional service.”

The release says, “Passengers select the appropriate zone and associated bus (West, Central, or East) based on the location of their destination. The operator will then create a customized route based on all requested drop-off locations within the zone serviced by that bus. When connecting from GO Transit, the fare for this service is $0.70 per trip.”
