The 2023 OMDREB Annual General Meeting, hosted on Wednesday, December 6 at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in Milton, brought together OMDREB members, volunteers, Directors, staff, and other industry personnel to review the affairs of the Board over the past year.
At the AGM, members approved the minutes of 2022’s Annual General Meeting, the minutes of the September 27, 2023 Special Meeting of Members, and accepted OMDREB’s Financial Statements year ending September 30, 2023. Members also appointed the Board Auditor for 2024.

Following the AGM, members enjoyed the annual Christmas Luncheon and Mini Trade Show, which made a return for the first time in four years.
At the Christmas Luncheon, members were greeted and thanked from representatives of this year’s President’s Charity, Halton Women's Place, who received a grand total of $47,860.04 raised by OMDREB REALTORS® throughout the year. 2024 President Anthony Danko announced his President’s Charity will be Shifra Homes.
Members also heard from keynote speaker Callum Wallace, who undertook the Flight For Hope in support of Home Suite Hope, one of former President Vishal Kapoor’s 2022 President’s Charities. His charitable adventure was nothing short of incredible, and it’s something that only four Canadians in history have done.
