Alan Spisak and Peter Cowell of A.C.I.S.S. Home & Commercial Inspection Consultants sponsored their company truck to pick up food donations for The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board’s food drive for Food4Kids on April 12.
OAKVILLE, ON, April 18, 2017 – On April 12, The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board and its Members collected $2,196 worth of non-perishable food, benefitting one of the 2017 President’s Charities, Food4Kids.
“We’re really happy with the result,” said 2017 President, Dennis Horton. “We’re proud of the giving spirit of this community. OMDREB representatives were able to help Food4Kids pack weekend bags today, and we were amazed at what this organization does for students in our area.”
“Thank you to A.C.I.S.S. for supporting the food drive, for donating time and for picking up donations from all the participating brokerages. Also, thank you to the brokerages and all who gave.
Food4Kids delivers 317 packages to students, distributed to over 40 schools in Halton during the school year, and the feeding program continues over the summer months without missing a beat.
The organization delivers boxes of food to 70 students over July and August. Stay tuned for more details, as OMDREB and A.C.I.S.S. Home & Commercial Inspection Consultants will organize another event for June 27!
