Oakville, ON, June 23, 2022 - The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) is excited to announce the scheduling of its Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Pipers Heath Golf Club in Milton. OMDREB will support two local charities this year to help those in need in the Oakville, Milton, and Halton Hills areas. Through its President's Charity initiative, OMDREB is supporting the Canadian Mental Health Association, Halton Region Branch, and Callum Wallace's Flight For Hope in support of Home Suite Hope at the 2022 tournament.
The Annual Charity Golf Tournament relies on sponsorships from Oakville, Milton, and Halton Hills businesses to operate and meet fundraising goals. The 2022 Sponsorship Package is now available, and we hope you will consider sponsoring a fun day out on the links for a great cause!

About Callum Wallace's Flight For Hope
On May 12th 2023, Callum Wallace will depart Burlington Executive Airport for a solo circumnavigation around-the-world in his small, single-engine aircraft, in support of Home Suite Hope and their affordable housing campaign.
Callum was born and raised in Oakville, Ontario and has had the "aviation bug" since a child. In 2020 Callum earned his Private Pilots certificate with Spectrum Airways based at CZBA, Burlington Ontario, Soon after, Callum successfully completed his instrument rating.
Home Suite Hope is an Oakville based organization that helps mothers with children overcome homelessness and financial hardship. When a family is selected, they participate in a 4-year program which provides housing and college tuition for the mother so they have the support and training to succeed. The cost per family is roughly $47,000 per year. One of the struggles with the current housing market is finding accommodation for the families.
The funds raised will go towards co-creating affordable housing opportunities for single-mother led families within Halton.
